Gothique Prague During this tour guests visit the Charles Bridge and its towers, continue to the Old Town Square where they discover the Old Town Hall and the House at the Stone Bell, the high gothique royal residence with its unique mural paintings and the Tyn Church with a late gothique carved altarpiece. The tour culminates in the St. Agnes Convent which houses a precious collection of medieval panel paintings, a must-see in Prague. The panels sometimes designed as reliquaries have exquisite gilded backgrounds and were once decorated with precious stones. The collection in total is absolutely unique northern from the Alps. |

| Baroque Prague In this tour visitors discover radical baroque churches designed by the Dientzenhofer family. The tour begins with visits to St. Nicholas Church at Mala Strana, St. Thomas Church and St. Joseph Church. Charles Bridge high baroque statues are analysed and afterwards St Francis Church, Our Saviour´s Church and the former jesuit college Klementinum are commented. Cubist Prague
Czech cubist architecture and design are internationally unique. It was created through a surprisingly short period of about four years before the WWI. The tour takes place in the National Gallery in Prague, specifically its Modern and Contemporary Art Collection. A unique Picasso and Braque collection of paintings mainly from the analytical period is presented. The collection was assembled by one of the first four collectioners of Picasso, Vincenc Kramář. Great masters of modern European and Czech art are represented by Derain, Van Gogh, Renoir, Gauguin, Rodin, Schiele, Kokoschka, Kupka and Klimt, to name some of the best known artists. |

| Baroque Prague
The tour begins at the early baroque Church of Infant Jesus, and continues to the radical baroque church of St. Nicholas at Malá Strana and St. Thomas Church (the main altarpiece was originally painted by Peter Paul Rubens). There visitors will discover the huge complex of Wallenstein Palace and its picturesque garden. The tour culminates by the Czernin Palace, Prague Loreto and a huge complex of the Strahov Monastery with its amazing baroque library and one of the most beautiful views of the capital. |

We liked the flow from Old Town up to the castle. It was nice that we had time at the end to spend exploring the castle and that side of the river before making our way back to Old Town. Katerina was very engaging and knew her stuff!!

We recently returned from a trip to Prague. I decided to book a 1/2 day tour on our first full day. Everything was done over the Internet and it all went according to plan. Katerina was our tour guide for our private tour and she was phenomenal! As promised, she had sent over to our hotel a packet with maps, local information, coupons, and more. On the day of our tour, Katerina met us in the hotel lobby and we were off! I can’t believe how much we saw in just 4 hours — Old Town, Astronomical Clock, Powder Tower, Charles Bridge, Lesser Town, Lennon Wall, Jewish Quarter — and more! She was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the sites, but the people, culture, history as well. She took the time to point out good restaurants, cafes, and places to return on our own. We saw places and learned things that I doubt we would have discovered with another tour (and definitely not on our own). The tour was well worth the reasonable price charged and we would highly recommend Katerina to anyone going to Prague.

Praga Mirabilis – the somewhat different Prague experience
There are two ways to discover a city with a guide. The normal version: the guide meets you, and you go down the list of attractions from No. 1 to where ever you stop when your time budget is exhausted.
I had the other one: knowing Prague somewhat, we engaged in a long discussion about specific aspects I am specially keen about. (All this with a quite special coffee tasting experience the owner of the coffee house was smiled in to perform). Then, a walk through the beautiful city of Prague, comparing our impressions and feelings, discovering many aspects I had walked by a thousand times without reflecting them. This was an experience to touch the soul of the city, and to get smothered in its spirit.
It would be a waste of talents to use Praga Mirabilis to check off the highlights – even so you would have an extremely skilled guide to do that. But if you believe that the essential things are invisible to our eyes: this is the person I would want on my side to experience them.

Katerina is an unbelievably knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. I spent the afternoon with her roaming the “off the beaten paths” of Prague, learning about the architecture of the city, visiting a modern art gallery, and hearing stories of Prague’s rich history and its Jewish culture. We accomplished a lot is such a short amount of time and Katerina was able to convey her love for her country to me and I greatly appreciated it! Katerina was highly recommended to me by my parents who also found her to be one of the best tour guides they’ve ever had and the next time I visit Prague, I’ll be planning another afternoon with Katerina.

Firstly, Katerina is Czech, but speaks fluent English. She teaches Art History, our particular interest, and is also a professional tour guide.
We found her on tripadvisor, and exchanged emails in advance as to our preferred programme
Katerina proved very adaptable, and saved us so much time, and also provided insights we would never have gained otherwise. Her rates are extremely reasonable and the day and a half we spent in her delightful company proved excellent value. We got so much more from this amazing city in the short time we were there, thanks to Katerina.
I had a short visit to Prague on a weekend in 2012 while working in Austria. I’ve been always skeptical of guided tours, I like going around on my own at my own pace. However, this one time I decided to find a tour since I figured my short stay wouldn’t allow me to see most of the city, I couldn’t afford this time getting lost and trying to find my way. So I found a private tour company and they appointed Katerina as my guide. Long story short, this has been the best investment I have ever made on a vacation trip. Born and raised in Prague, Kateria is a Phd in Art History (if I remember correctly). In less than 10 hours we visited all the main attractions in Prague and many others hidden places that no map will ever show. We even had chance for a good dessert at Cafe Savoy!. You can ask any question about Art and History of Prague, Katerina is like Wikipidea, she will tell you many amazing stories about every single place you visit. She will point your attention to the fine details in every church and every building in the city, many of them would not even been noticeable to the common tourist. You must be aware that in Prague, each small detail crafted on the wall of its churches, palaces and bridges have a meaning, a story behind. Katerina knows them all. If you visit Prague, by yourself or with your family, Katerina is not recommended but mandatory!, I guarantee you will have an amazing time as I did. My wife and I just returned from a 1 week stay in the beautiful city of Prague. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without the superb guidance of Katerina. She was truly a gem to have with us during our stay. Besides being an extremely warm and friendly person, she is a wealth of information, and is certainly well qualified for the job with advanced degrees in art history and judaic studies. We received an endless amount of information during our private walking tours about the history, art, culture, architecture, and legends of the places we visited in and around Prague. She led us through the area of the Prague Castle, Old and new towns, among other sites. Some of the highlights for me were her tour of the Jewish quarter in Prague and the beautiful/serene area of Vysehrad. If you choose Katerina to guide you, I would consider these two tours as “can’t miss.” We also took a day trip with her to the concentration camp, Terezin, which was beyond words, as you might imagine.
After our experience with Katerina, I couldn’t imagine exploring Prague on future visits without her guidance.
