This general sightseeing tour can be divided into two days. The first day a three to four hour tour of the Castle area, Prague Castle and Malá Strana, the second day the Old Town, the New Town and the Jewish Town.

Please note that there is a newly opened exhibition of Alfons Mucha´s Slavic Epic (Art Nouveau) where I work as an official lecturer of the Gallery of the City of Prague.
The tour „Grand Litterary Cafés“ brings to life an athmosphere of the „fin de siècle“ and of the 1920´s when the personalities like Franz Kafka, Franz Werfel, Albert Einstein or the Čapek brothers used to write and read their poems, novels and philosophical treatises. It includes the famous Václav Havel´s Café Slavia, Café Savoy, Café Louvre, Café Grand Orient and Café Imperial.

As a mother of a seven years old son I can adjust a tour to the needs and rythm of children. Even the parents will be delighted to discover the beautiful fairy-tales and Old Prague legends. I provide practical recommendations of children friendly restaurants and playgrounds in the historical city center.
I organize the evening ghost tours in a costume in secret streets of Old Prague (e.g. for student groups).
Have you already discovered the city center? You can opt for a day boat trip to the baroque Troja Castle which is located in the proximity of the famous Prague ZOO.
I can accompany you out of Prague as well, to discover other fascinating sights in my country like Český Krumlov, Kutná Hora, Terezín, Karlovy Vary, Brno, southern Moravia etc. I will be delighted to guide you in Regensburg, Dresden and Krakow if you want to expand your experience in Central Europe.
We have just returned from a four city tour, but the one we came home appreciating the most was Prague, where we took three tours. Our tour guide, Katerina Prusova, was a terrific resource. She was sensitive to the needs and interests of our group, and she knows enough about her subject matter to field any question. As she has advance degrees in both art history and Jewish studies, she was a fabulous resource for our tours. We felt very lucky to have her, as she brought both passion and intelligence to her tours
I was part of the beautiful tour lead by Katerina for three hours through Prague’s Jewish Quarter. It was a poignant and scholarly walk, very touching, made meaningful through Katerina’s knowledge and personal experiences. She was so vividly present at every moment, interacting with each of us, somehow acknowledging each of our questions and level of understanding. While most on our tour were well versed in Jewish history, I am not, but felt completely comfortable as her depth of expertise made learning contagious. I became a sponge in her whirl of learned explanations, wonderful stories, and examples of what we saw. I understood Prague at a whole new level after her tour!
Katerina was great. Her breadth of knowledge, command of English and personableness was a perfect combination.
Dear Katerina,
My wife and I, along with our son is residing in the UK, visited your beautiful country from Oct 5 to Oct 8, this year, and you took us around the city for a day in-between.
I would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the efficient, friendly and considerate way you arranged that day’s trip and for giving more than expected. Your advice by email, before we landed in Prague, helped us to plan our sight-seeing trip and enabled us to see more of your beautiful city, than otherwise. Thank you also for the wealth of information you provided about the sites we visited with you, and for the pleasant memories.
If circumstances permit, we would like to visit Prague again with our family, some time in the future and spend more days, also visiting interesting places outside the city.
My wife and I returned to Sri Lanka on Nov 2nd, and plan to go to the UK again in mid 2013.
I hope you had an enjoyable and fulfilling Christmas season.
My wife and son join me in wishing you and your family happiness, prosperity, good health and success in 2013.
Shivaji.
Katerina is a passionate lovely guide with an incredible will to make you another Prague lover!
The main touristic spots or the B-sides… She helps a lot!
Can’t wait to visit Prague once more.. definitely gonna look for her! =)
What a wonderful person full of knowledge and patience in dealing with a little one year old boy. We were met at our hotel by Katerina who was wonderful from the beginning. Because we wanted to make the most of our trip we split up our tours over two days roughly three hours each day. With that schedule we weren’t rushing around and Katerina was amazingly patient. It helps that she has a child of her own, so she understands the demands of young boy. Our first day we spent touring the Eastern side of river and all sites within. The second day was mostly the castle. But beyond the standard tour stops she gave us great ideas for delicious eats that were also baby friendly. She also pointed us to a park for kids, which turned out to be one of the highlights because my young son was playing in a park right next to the Vltava. My thanks goes out to Katerina for everything and making our trip to Prague memorable
Hi Katerina,
I wanted to thank you on behalf of Alexander, Anita and myself for being so helpful and kind during our tours of Prague in March.
Those two days we learned so much about Prague and by extension the culture.
I truly believe to enjoy a place you must learn about the culture. You helped us better understand the heart and mind of the Czech spirit.
If you ever happen to come to NYC, I hope that you do contact us. We would love to show you around our city.
I hope you and your family are doing well.
We send you best wishes from NYC.
Best Regards,
Fred, Anita and Baby Alexander
Thank you so much for your email and making our journey such an amazing trip! We truly loved touring with you! You have a gift. In addition to just sharing facts, art, and the history of the places we visited, you enhanced the experience with wonderful stories or even personal experiences that made them memories. Thank you for doing that it was wonderful.
All the best and we will hopefully be back!

Best Customized Tour Ever
Katerina was so knowledgeable and wonderful, I felt as if I was walking around Prague with the most charming friend. As I had been to Prague previously, I asked her to design a tour for me that would give me insight into artistic culture and history of Prague. Katerina designed a Cafe Society and Art tour that was one of the best days I’ve ever spent. Her insight into the various writing and art periods tied into the famous cafes was truly fascinating. Additionally, we ate and drank our way through some of the very best and most historical cafes in Prague. This tour would be wonderful for anyone – even someone who lives in Prague.
I also spent another day with Katerina and again had a wonderful experience. Rather than just reciting facts from a history book, Katerina relates everything to everyday life and you walk away with a great understanding of not only the history but the people of Prague.

Katerina was an exceptional guide for our four-party group when we visited Prague in early June. She was so informative and patient in answering our many questions. She was knowledgeable about all things Prague for the entire history of the city. We got to go to so many different and unique places that we would not have had the opportunity to see on our regular tour.
Based on reviews I read online, I decided to book a tour for my little family. We had discussed with Katerina that we are travelling with our 1 year old. My thanks goes out to Katerina for everything and making our trip to Prague memorable.
Katerina, thank you for the wonderful tour on Saturday. It was a pleasure meeting you and learning about the history of old town and jewish area. It was fascinating.
What a delightful day we spent with Katerina in Prague in April of 2012. We had just a day to see this remarkable city and our guide Katerina custom designed our day to fit the diverse interest of our family. She blended the art, architecture, history and culture into a remarkable day for our family that includes an architect, a doctor and a socialology scholar.
Time and money well spent!
We first visited Prague in 1986, and we returned this weekend, almost exactly twenty-six years later. We asked Katerina to take us on a tour of sites related to the modern history of the Czech Republic, and the dramatic changes since our first visit. She proved knowledgeable, insightful, and frank. The tour was smoothly conducted, perfectly researched and enjoyable throughout. It was definitely the highlight of the trip. For anyone considering a visit to Prague, we strongly recommend a tour with Katerina, ideally early in your trip.
