Live On-line Session
Duration: 90 min
Join a local Prague art historian for an interactive, live broadcast directly from the avenues of Prague, presenting the gems of Art Nouveau and modernist architecture. Our virtual tour provides a 360º view to admire the outstanding modernist masterpieces the city designed prior to the Great War.
Our expert will complement the walking tour with images and maps to better understand the transformation of Prague from the medieval capital to a modern metropolis. The tour will start with the Municipal House that will be contrasted with a Czech cubist house at the Black Madonna and will be concluded with the inside of a breathtaking dome of the Palace Koruna at the foot of the Wenceslas Square passing by a famous avenue.
Led by an expert local licensed guide and University lecturer, Katerina Prusova, Ph.D., our interactive virtual tour is designed to explore these iconic examples of Art Nouveau and modernism. There will be time included for additional questions. Aimed to inform curiosity as well as future travels, participants will come away with an increased interest in visiting (or revisiting!) Prague and to experience its charisma first-hand.
